Standing after two rounds (Tyne United and Hexham)

In the Open League it’s still a close race between Tyne Rowing Club crew "Fog on the Tyne" and Chester-le-Street Amateur Rowing Club crew "Chester Cheetahs" each with 7 points meaning they are a clear 4 points ahead of =3rd placed crews Great HexPexStations (pictured above) and TURC That!. Also we were glad to note that Berwick Amateur Rowing Club's team "Barc'in Mad" took their first point in the club’s first ever time taking part!

In the Women's League it is much closer with only 2 points separating the top 5 teams. Tyne-mouth Rowing Club's "The Gulls of Tynemouth" hold top spot on 6 points with Durham Amateur Rowing Club's "Wear Here" whilst joint 3rd are 2 more DARC teams of "DARC Demons" & "DARC Green" each on 5 points. Hexham Rowing Club's team "Hexcellent" came top of the day though with 4 points putting them in 5th still only two points off top spot.

Hope everyone enjoyed it at Hexham and the next round is at Tees Rowing Club on May 1st which is the skills head. Good Luck everyone, remember the Explore Series welcomes new teams at any point throughout the series so make sure you get your teams together.
